[ETC-Discussion] Web Page Problems

Good Afternoon;

 

For what it worth, the site still will not let Sheila sign in and it will
drop me from the authorized list as well at random.  Sometimes you can sign
in and most of the time you cannot.

 

To be honest though, the site has been so much of a pain that I have not
bothered (neither has Sheila) with even using the site.  We get the emails
from the list server and sometimes it will even let us respond, but not
always.  So, we depend upon the news letter and hearing from folks about
what is going on.

 

It would be nice if the site was developed such that it would work all of
the time and support any web browser.  That can be accomplished using
Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, or any other major web development software.  Has
anyone looked into having Costco host the site and handling web development?
Just a thought for what it is worth.

 

Hope everyone is having a good day, able to enjoy the snow from a warm and
comfortable location, and enjoying the Tour de Garage, living room, or
whatever works for you!!

Having been a key player in the original site I can tell you it was NOT

created in a MS product. But it IS some pretty old technology and it IS much

happier in MSIE. Have you tried it there? When I added that PayPal join

stuff back into the site I tested it in FF2 and it worked. I'm happy to try

to troubleshoot with you off-list. FYI, the board is looking at a complete

site revamp.
