Don't know if anyone from the club had planned to attend Willie Weir's presentation on Turkey this Wednesday but we got word today that it was canceled.  We were sorry to hear of the passing of Willie's father.

The current adventure presentation series that Willie is doing is quite a joy to watch as he certainly has a dramatic approach to describing his worldly travels.  The $5 admission goes to support Bicycle Alliance of Washington.

This Wednesday's show at REI in Seattle has been canceled. My dad died this morning after a long struggle with cancer. Kat and I are flying to Sacramento this afternoon. Please pass the word about the show to those who might not be on this email list.
