Did RAMROD today and it was hot. I think that all you can do is drink
before you are thirsty and recognize that you are going to be slower
and need to gear down further. The redmond cycle club was handing out
ice collars made of tube socks filled with ice. I passed, but a lot
of riders were grateful. I'm not a fan of the supplements, but
gatorade at half strength sure tasted good today.
