Come join us for our 2nd annual Fun-miles of Sundials ride this Saturday at
9 AM at Gas Works Park. More a tour than a bike ride, this outing will be
like watching the Discovery Channel as we pedal across north Seattle to
explore hidden secrets. Among other things, observe the wonderful mix of
science, arts and crafts:

Dials accurate to within 1 minute
Wide range of gnomons - some even wearing helmets
A dial that requires an oil change every 50 years

Professor Woody Sullivan from UW Astronomy Department confirmed he will
talked to our group. This year, instead of coming outside of his office to
chat with us at stop #2, he is going to ride his single bike with us for
stops, #2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. He is the upmost authority on sundials in the
northwest so we're tickled that he's joining us. If your riding partner is
unable to ride this Saturday, join us on your single bike and then have fun
touring the dials again when your schedules allow.

It's TIME to explore our own back yard.
