Sure, daycare counts. It is also Bike to School Day, you know.
My work is at Overlake School in Redmond. We did a group start at
Marymoor Park in Redmond, the first time the school has participated in
Bike to School Day. 15 riders (half adults), 5.5 miles, no tandems.
Our principal met us a half-mile away and rode up the hill to school
with us. T-shirts for all.

OK, pictures don't make it to the list, I get it.
Anyway, Kelly and I did BTW Day on the tandem. (When work is at home,
any
round trip counts as biking to work.) Pretty well-attended at the
station
in front of Boeing Everett, they'd passed 200 people and it was well
before
8 o'clock. Coffee, bottled water, bananas, oranges, apples, Snohomish
county maps, water bottles and reflectors, plus a masseuse (busy) and a
bike
mechanic (idle), just as it should be. There were also a couple of kids
in
a trailer "biking" to daycare, I suppose that counts as well. :)
