Thyce, the problem with your solution for Eric is that their Santana probably does not have 10 speed rear cassette, which the Sweet 16's have. Their touring wheels, however might come in 7, 8 or 9 (as well as 10) speed and are usually in stock. That was the case when we ordered ours.

R&E has the best wheel warranty and Perfect Wheels builds super tough wheels. Finding the hub in stock might pose a problem, especially if you want a specific color, spoke count or disc mount. Purchasing another set of wheels would likely be quicker. A set of Sweet Sixteen racing wheels could be shipped overnight from Santana while your replacement handbuilt touring wheel could take weeks. If you have thought about having two kinds of wheel sets, now might be a good time:-)
