[ETC-Discussion] Facebook / server

I guess I still don't quite understand. And yes I'd be the first to admit
that I have very limited knowledge of the inner workings of web design and
servers. My original question and concern was "What does it mean ETC is now
on face book?" I will now expand that question.  What part of ETC or what
data concerning ETC is being put on Facebook and why? Is this club data,
photos, club discussion, and / or personal information ie. Names, locations
etc.? What control does ETC have over what is put on Facebook under the name
of ETC? The second thing is Louise implied the new web site, the old web
site and the discussion group were all separate and I assume that means on
different servers?. If so why does the new web site home box bring up the
old web site and is there cross contamination? If they are separate servers,
at what cost?  If there is no cost for the servers than what control do we
over the distribution of information and discussion on these servers. I was
under the impression that was why we were paying big bucks so that we did
have control. If anyone can enlighten me I would appreciate it. Let me also
say that I think a discussion format among the club members is essential for
the survival of the club. I also think it should remain within the club.
