I don't normally read PC Mag so I read the articles on Facebook security on
PCMag's website. While the issues the articles raise are valid, they
aren't relevant here. They're relevant if you personally are on FB, not if
your club (or your employer, or a store where you shop, or your friend, or
your relative, or your ex) is on FB, which they probably are.
The security issues all apply to information that is volunteered to FB.
There is no way for anyone to use FB to somehow "extract" information that
wasn't volunteered to it. So there is no issue if the club doesn't put up
members' personal information, which Spencer and Louise have already said
that the club won't do.
