It would be even more interesting with two dudes trying to avoid whisker burn. If you check out at this push-me-pull-you tandem on his homepage you can see the fuel tank is safely tucked under the riders heads on the back side of the engine. Too bad it is not a fixed gear bike, then you could ride either direction. It would be cool to "put it in reverse" and back out of the driveway stoker first. On Saturday there is a lunch time BBQ following the ride -- included in the registration. On Sunday we suggest lunch at the World beat festival http://www.worldbeatfestival.org/ We are in the process of finishing the permitting process for each day's rides. The current plan is to have a 35, 55, and 80 mile ride on Saturday and a 35, 55 & 65 mile ride on Sunday. The two Sunday rides differ in that one has challenging hills while the other is relatively flat." FYI - early registration ends April 15 From amycolyn at gmail.com Wed Feb 29 14:16:55 2012 From: amycolyn at gmail.com (Amy Colyn) Date: Wed, 29 Feb 2012 11:16:55 -0800 Subject: [ETC-Discussion] any takers? Message-ID: http://www.rtcsnv.com/vivabikevegas/ Thyce & I just registered for this Vegas ride on Sept 21... today is the last day to register for $75 ... then the amount will increase by $10 a month till sept. We will fly on Southwest where bags will hopefully still "fly free". More website info still to come on host hotel etc.. It would be great to have other ETC'rs on the ride. Amy
